The El Juramento project aims to restore approximately 2,900 hectares of degraded ecosystems in the Argentine Gran Chaco through native species reforestation and assisted natural regeneration.
This project will capture carbon, enhance biodiversity, and protect natural resources. Over 4.7 million trees will be planted, including White Carob (Neltuma alba) and other key species from the Chaco forest.
The project will begin in 2025 with a 60-hectare pilot phase, gradually expanding until 2028. Long-term sustainability will be ensured through monitoring, adaptive management, and community participation.
The El Juramento Project Communication Mechanism provides a channel for anyone to request project information, submit suggestions, or file complaints regarding possible impacts. All interactions can be anonymous if preferred.
